2025 Courthouse Christmas Tree Campaign
The Kerrville Christmas Lighting Corporation (KCLC), a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is honored to announce that a brand-new 50-foot Christmas tree is officially on its way to the Kerr County Courthouse lawn, ensuring Kerrville’s cherished holiday tradition will continue to shine bright.
With this addition, Kerrville will proudly maintain its title as home to the tallest Christmas tree in the Texas Hill Country.
Earlier this spring, before the flooding, KCLC retired and sold the aging 45-foot tree that had graced the courthouse lawn for the past 13 years due to persistent lighting issues and other wear and tear. At that same time, KCLC launched a fundraising campaign to secure a new tree. Unsure if the goal could be met, the nonprofit paused for a time—but ultimately took a leap of faith and placed a deposit, determined to preserve this symbol of joy and tradition.
Now, more than ever, our community needs light and hope. With so many families and businesses impacted by this summer’s disaster, the tree will stand as a reminder of resilience and togetherness.
