2025 Courthouse Christmas Tree Campaign
For the past 13 holiday seasons, a towering 45-foot Christmas tree has graced the lawn of the Kerr County Courthouse, lighting up the season for locals and visitors alike. But after years of service—and with increasing wear and tear, including persistent lighting issues—the aging tree has been retired and sold.
Now, without vital community support, the courthouse lawn could be left bare and dark this holiday season.
The Kerrville Christmas Lighting Corporation (KCLC) has launched a $125,000 campaign to replace the aging tree with a brand-new 50-foot LED Tree—preserving Kerrville’s proud title as home to the tallest Christmas tree in the Texas Hill Country.
To support this effort, KCLC has secured a $50,000 matching grant, which will double every donation received.
New Christmas Tree Highlights:
• Features nearly 37,000 warm white LED lights—more than ever before
• Stands 5 feet taller than the original, thanks to a new riser and star topper
• Operates on upgraded 120V power to enhance lighting performance and reliability
• Made in the USA
